These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions with Officer Garden Supplies, located at 405 Princes Highway, Officer VIC 3809, Australia. They govern all purchases made in-store, by phone, or via our website.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The most current version will be published on our website and takes effect immediately upon posting.
All quotations provided by Officer Garden Supplies are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice after this period.
An order is confirmed only upon receipt of payment or written acceptance of a credit account application. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
Customers with approved trading accounts are required to make payment within 14 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All other customers are required to pay in full prior to or at the time of delivery or pick-up. We accept cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards. Returned cheques and declined payments may incur an administration fee.
Officer Garden Supplies reserves the right to suspend or cancel services for any account with outstanding overdue balances.
Standard delivery drop-off locations are the nature strip, driveway, or crossover of the nominated delivery address. Our driver will use reasonable judgement in selecting the safest accessible location.
Deliveries requested beyond these areas - including reversing into properties, manoeuvring further onto the premises, or accessing narrow or gated areas - are carried out only at the customer's express request and are entirely at the customer's risk.
We do not accept responsibility for any damage to property, driveways, structures, landscaping, vehicles, or underground services (including pipes, cables, and irrigation lines) that may occur as a result of complying with such requests.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure clear and safe access is available at the time of delivery. If a delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, a redelivery fee may apply.
Customers are advised to carefully check and confirm all product specifications, quantities, and descriptions before placing an order. Our team is available to assist with product selection prior to purchase.
Due to the nature of bulk landscape materials, we operate a strict no-refund policy once products have been delivered. Colours, textures, and particle sizes of natural materials such as mulch, soil, pebbles, and gravel may vary between batches. These variations are inherent to the nature of the products and do not constitute a defect.
Pick-up orders must be collected within 48 hours of the agreed collection time unless prior arrangements have been made. We reserve the right to charge a storage fee for orders held beyond this period.
Many of our soil products are recycled and blended using soils sourced from excavations. While care is taken during processing and quality control, these materials may occasionally contain small traces of contamination, including but not limited to debris, rubble, or other incidental material.
By purchasing these products, customers acknowledge and accept this possibility. Officer Garden Supplies does not accept liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential costs associated with the detection, management, or removal of such contamination.
Customers with specific soil purity requirements are advised to request a product data sheet or contact us prior to purchase.
As stated in our Product Policy, bulk landscape materials cannot be returned or refunded once delivered. For bagged products purchased in-store, returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase in original, unopened condition with proof of purchase.
Claims for incorrect or damaged goods must be notified to us within 24 hours of delivery. We will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis and, where a valid claim is established, provide a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Officer Garden Supplies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the purchase or use of our products or services.
Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service to which the claim relates.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any consumer guarantee rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
All content on the Officer Garden Supplies website - including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and design elements - is the property of Officer Garden Supplies and is protected by Australian copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.
